Job Title: Deionization Business Development Manager

 

Location: Houston, TX
 

Salary: $75K - $85 plus commission plan

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Deionization Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities for deionization water treatment services and systems.
  • Manages the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Conducts market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activity in the DI water market.
  • Collaborates with engineering and operations teams to develop technical proposals and customized solutions.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling related services.
  • Attends trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the company's offerings and generate leads.
  • Prepares sales forecasts, activity reports, and strategic plans for assigned regions or sectors.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer specifications.
  • Supports post-sale execution to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to develop and close technical sales in the industrial or municipal water treatment industry.
  • Strong understanding of deionization technologies, water chemistry, and water treatment system design.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and develop client-focused solutions.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in water treatment or a related industry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Physical Demands: Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy objects; standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Work Environment: Indoors in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust, fumes, and machinery.
  • Safety Precautions: Adherence to strict safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, gloves, and eyewear.
  • Equipment Operation: Regular use of warehouse machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; requires proper training and certification.

Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Assistant is a high-visibility strategic partner that supports the CEO in managing the day-to-day administration and operations of the Executive Office. The Executive Assistant also provides support and management of all of the CEO’s personal and business affairs. The Executive Assistant lives in the now, and develops and streamlines systems and processes to ensure the efficiency of projects and effectiveness of communication across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains calendar and appointment scheduling and works with leader to effectively manage time.
  • May serve on special projects, committees, or act as manager or department representative.
  • Opens, distributes, reads/handles mail and emails as requested or required.
  • Maintains an up-to-date electronic and paper filing system.
  • Manage the travel budget and book all executive air travel, land transport, and accommodation as well as communicating those arrangements with a high level of detail and follow through

QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, developing deep client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Develops a deep understanding of each client’s business, objectives, and challenges to proactively propose solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manages contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and upsell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborates with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Product, and Customer Support) to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Monitors account performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights and recommendations to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolves escalated issues efficiently, with a focus on maintaining client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conducts regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions with leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving account growth.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and client reporting tools.
