POSITION SUMMARY: We’re not looking for someone from a Fortune 500 giant. We want a hungry, early-career salesperson who has cut their teeth in a smaller, scrappy environment and is ready to step up into closing deals at a founder-led industrial business

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support in an industrial or B2B environment
  • Skilled in preparing and sending quotes, proposals, and rental agreements quickly and accurately
  • Strong phone and email communication skills; comfortable interacting with plant managers, engineers, and procurement contacts
  • Ability to triage inbound inquiries (decide what goes to BD Rep, what can be handled directly)
  • Familiarity with managing order intake forms, contracts, and documentation
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Comfortable maintaining a CRM system (Pipeddrive, HubSpot, etc.) with clean data, accurate pipeline updates, and quote tracking
  • Able to manage multiple requests simultaneously while keeping timelines tight
  • Experience coordinating across departments (sales, operations, billing) to make sure commitments are followed through
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets to generate quotes, cost calculations, and freight estimates
  • Quick learner of technical products/services (DI trailers, regen services, RO rentals, consumables) — can confidently speak to customers at a basic level
  • Understanding of industrial purchasing processes (POs, MSAs, credit applications, net terms) a plus
  • Service-first mentality: sees their role as enabling the sales team and making the customer experience smooth
  • Accountable and reliable — thrives on being the person sales and operations can count on for accuracy and follow-through
  • Team player who partners closely with BD Rep and President but is self-directed enough to own routine tasks
  • Comfortable in a smaller company environment — able to wear multiple hats and adapt as processes evolve

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in industrial rentals, water treatment, chemicals, or equipment services preferred
  • 2–4 years in a customer-facing support role with proven ability to manage high-volume requests

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities for deionization water treatment services and systems.
  • Manages the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Conducts market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activity in the DI water market.
  • Collaborates with engineering and operations teams to develop technical proposals and customized solutions.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling related services.
  • Attends trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the company's offerings and generate leads.

Job Title: Resin Regeneration Plant Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Resin Regeneration Plant Supervisor (RRS) is responsible for performing day-to-day operations of the Resin Regeneration Plant, focusing on resin handling and system maintenance to ensure high-quality output and efficient workflows. The role involves operating and maintaining essential plant systems, executing resin regeneration processes, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operation. The RRT works collaboratively with the plant team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic industrial environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Air Compressors and Receivers: Manage compressed air systems to ensure reliable operation of pneumatic Perform regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
    • Blower Systems: Oversee the operation of blower systems used in regeneration processes, ensuring consistent performance.
    • Hot Water Systems: Maintain hot water systems used for various processes, including temperature monitoring and system repairs.
    • Water Tank Farm: Monitor water storage systems, ensuring adequate supply and proper water quality for plant operations.
    • Chemical Tank Farm: Handle storage and transfer of chemicals safely, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and proper inventory
    • Pump Skids: Operate and maintain pumps for transferring water, chemicals, and resin slurries. Troubleshoot issues such as cavitation or flow
    • Cartridge Filter Systems: Replace and maintain cartridge filters to ensure filtration efficiency and prevent contamination of downstream
    • Activated Carbon Vessels: Oversee carbon filtration systems, ensuring effective removal of organic impurities and maintaining system
    • Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems: Monitor and maintain RO systems for water purification, including membrane cleaning and troubleshooting high differential pressures.
    • Electrodeionization (EDI) Systems: Operate and service EDI systems to achieve high-purity water, including module inspections and electrical
    • Deionized (DI) Pod Usage: Manage the setup, monitoring, and replacement of Resin Pod Commissioning: Prepare resin pods for operational use, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
    • Resin Unloading and Transferring: Safely unload and transfer resin between systems while minimizing contamination and loss.
    • Resin Separations: Conduct resin separation processes to isolate cation and anion resins for regeneration.
    • Resin Regeneration: Execute chemical regeneration processes to restore resin capacity, including acid and caustic dosing.
    • Resin Remix: Combine cation and anion resins post-regeneration for use in mixed-bed applications.
    • Resin Loading: Properly load resin into pods or vessels, ensuring correct quantities and uniform distribution.
    • Resin Analysis: Perform resin quality analysis to assess performance and determine regeneration schedules.
    • DI Trailer Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload deionization trailers, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training
    • Relevant certifications in water treatment, industrial operations, or chemical handling are a plus.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving
    • Strong communication and interpersonal
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
    • Proficiency in using plant control systems and basic computer
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in resin regeneration, water treatment, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in a plant or industrial environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of plant controls systems and utilities.
    • Proficiency in operating and maintaining resin regeneration equipment.
    • Strong understanding of chemical handling and water treatment processes.
    • Ability to work 40-60 hours per week if required including weekends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Requires working in industrial and plant environments with exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures.
    • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in confined spaces or elevated areas.
    • May require working overtime, weekends, or holidays to meet operational demands.
